A few weeks ago, I had brunch with Karen and Jeremy at Cafe Centraal in Bay View... and I must say - Delicious!
The atmosphere is fantastic! We sat outside on the "award-winning" patio, which is truly a gem in the city - peaceful and relaxing, and removed from the street.
We each enjoyed a tasty Passionfruit Mimosa. Karen and Jeremy both got a Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil omelet with rosemary potatoes. I got my usual - Stuffed French Toast. I must say - the French Toast will definitely make it to my list of top 10 (yet to be published) and the rosemary potatoes were something else! I would return simply for the potatoes alone!
The owner of Cafe Central also owns Cafe Hollander on the East Side of Milwaukee and has a similar feel and menu, however each have unique meal options.
Other great patios include Paddy's Pub (Milwaukee), The Great Dane (Downtown Madison)
